John Travaglini

Chief Executive Officer

John is a technology and capital markets entrepreneur, and a highly experienced M&A professional. Prior to founding 4Front Capital Partners, he owned a mid market investment and merchant banking consulting firm based out of Toronto. In this role John consulted to large multinationals, funds and family offices worldwide on wealth preservation, mergers and acquisitions and international investments. Prior to that John co-owned an investment bank with offices in Toronto, London, Singapore and Sydney Australia. This company did both public and private transactions totaling over $250 million.

John co-founded a systems integration company which had revenues of over $55 Million. John has held sales positions with Sun Microsystems, and Unisys Corporation.

John has held board positions and executive management positions in both public and private companies in Canada and abroad. He holds an Honors Degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a graduate of the Quantum Shift Executive Management program sponsored by KPMG and Ivey School of Business.

Mark Kennedy

Managing Director

Mark joined 4Front Capital Partners in the fall of 2017.  Mark is a seasoned banking and capital markets professional with extensive experience and a demonstrated ability to strategize, analyze numbers and assess risk. His work experience includes twenty years with large Canadian banks in banking, corporate finance and investment research, six years with equity boutiques in institutional equity sales and four years in the finance function (corporate
development and CFO) of a private Green-tech startup overseeing several capital raising rounds. Mark has deal experience in numerous resource and industrial sectors including forest products, energy and energy services, agriculture, mining, utilities, manufacturing and real estate.

Mark holds an Honors Degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters of Business Administration from York University.

Mike Kraemer

Vice President

Mike is an accomplished investment banking entrepreneur with thirty years of building and managing companies in the global financial services sector. He has worked across a broad and diverse range of industries including banking, information and digital technology, sports and entertainment, agriculture, construction, mining, and alternative energy. Mike cut his teeth in the North American sports and entertainment industry working with agencies, corporate sponsors, professional athletes, teams, broadcasters, facilities, and institutions. Mike started his financial/technology career in data analytics, developing new business for a Fortune 100 technology company, and a large Canadian bank.

Prior to joining 4Front Capital Partners, Mike was chief advisor to a boutique merchant bank, specializing in public capital markets, debt and equity structures and M&A advisory. Throughout his career, Mike has been a founder, investor, operator, and director of several private and public companies including a private international bank, a global currency and business banking firm, and several fintech, data, and data analytics companies.

Vice President

Danil joined the firm in 2025. He has completed his Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management. Prior to joining 4Front Capital Partners, Danil spent several years at a leading independent, Canadian-owned and operated private client and capital markets firm in various positions related to wealth management and markets analysis. 

Danil is currently pursuing his CFA designation.
